Who to contact, in order

1. Ask in the HAAG validated-pace-users Slack channel first. This is a dedicated, student-led peer-support space built specifically so PACE/HPC questions don’t get lost in general channels or repeated over and over. It’s the fastest path for common issues, since it’s staffed by other researchers who’ve likely hit the same problem. Joining requires basic PACE preparedness — it’s a validated channel, not open to everyone by default, which keeps discussion focused and relevant.

2. Run 303’s validator and check 304’s system status page before escalating further — both take under a minute and rule out the two most common causes of “my job just isn’t working”: a script problem the validator would catch, or a PACE-side issue that’s out of your control.

3. Email PACE directly at pace-support@oit.gatech.edu if the issue is specific to your account, allocation, or something Slack peers can’t resolve. PACE’s support team routes inquiries to the right staff member.

4. Attend a free weekly virtual consultation session for anything that needs a real conversation rather than an email thread — times and connection details are on the Consultation Sessions page.

Policies worth knowing

PACE’s acceptable use and account policies cover allocation rules and account standards. Worth a skim once, not something to memorize.

A note on contact info

PACE’s own current support page lists pace-support@oit.gatech.edu as the primary contact. Some older HAAG materials reference hpchelp@gatech.edu instead — worth confirming with PACE which is current before this goes out broadly, so we don’t point researchers at a possibly-retired address.
